EDİRNE L TYPE PRISONMerve Elibol "The Court of Cassation overturned the sentence given to my husband.  My husband's health deteriorated in prison. He has psoriasis. He is not given medication. He has wounds on his body due to the conditions in prison. He is in a very difficult situation."


SİNCAN Prison

Mahmut Kurt: "As a teacher, I was declared a terrorist and thrown into prison, I have been imprisoned for 6 years. The observation board declared itself a second court and prevented my supervised release with an arbitrary decision."


KAYSERİ PRISON

Songül Çetiner's son: "My father is paralyzed, my mother is in prison, I have a disabled sister, my sister has a suicide attempt and I am the only healthy one left. 

I am trying to make my voice heard. This is not what we deserve!"

Turan Canpolat proved the forged documents added to his file one by one from his cell. 

Not even the bar associations heard his voice. 

The ECHR ruled but it is still not being implemented and Turan Canpolat was not being released even though he is eligible for parole.

AKHISAR T TYPE PRISON

Murat Gülenç "I have been in prison since August 2016. On March 9, 2022, I was not given the supervised release I was entitled to. They are not enough, now they are usurping my right to conditional release. My 2 children have been waiting for my release for 6 years."

   Degrading treatment of prisoners in Tokat T Type Prison continues. 

Using a language full of false accusations, they receive negative reports from the observation board and their probation rights are taken away. 

This situation must stop for justice to be served

SİNCAN PRISON

It has been 8 years that dismissed judge Mustafa Başer, who has cancer, has been held in prison despite the ECtHR ruling that his right to liberty and security has been violated. 

He is not being released even though he is entitled to conditional release

Turkey ranks first in the world in terms of the increase and deaths of sick prisoners. 

Keeping prisoners who cannot stay in prison is the politics of death and torture. 

All sick prisoners, including 76-year-old Hanife Arslan, must be released immediately.

Abdullah Şahin, a prisoner in Bolvadin Prison, is denied his conditional rights: "Is there any explanation for this unlawfulness against a teacher who has never touched a weapon and has never harmed anyone, and who has fulfilled his duty properly during his civil service?



Nursel Ekici, who was undergoing treatment for cancer, suffered a stroke when she learned that her husband Mustafa Ekici, who had been imprisoned for 7 years, was not granted probation, and died soon after.
